Your work is yours, and so is your data. That’s why we ask for as little as possible, and explain exactly what we do with it here.

Who are we?
This website belongs to WeGotWorkspace BV (Dutch Chamber of Commerce no. 42131906, registered address 65, 1452 PH, the Netherlands). We are responsible for processing your data. Questions? Email us at team@wegotworkspace.org.
What data do we collect?
Only what you fill in yourself in one of our two forms:
- Signing up as a pioneer: your name, your email address, the size of your team, whether you install WeGotWorkspace yourself or want us to do it for you, and what you currently use to work.
- Signing up for the newsletter: your name and your email address.
When you submit a form, we also store your IP address, your browser type and the page you signed up on. We only use that to detect fake signups and spam. For the same reason, your browser invisibly solves a small computational puzzle when you submit (ALTCHA). We create and check that puzzle ourselves; no data goes to any other party.
What do we use it for?
- Pioneers: to get in touch with you, set up your workspace and ask for your feedback during the pioneer programme.
- Newsletter: to keep you up to date on the development of WeGotWorkspace.
We don’t use your data for anything else. We don’t sell it, we don’t share it with advertisers and we don’t build profiles from it.
On what basis?
On the basis of your consent: you sign up yourself. For the newsletter, you confirm that once more through a link in your email. You can withdraw your consent at any time. That only applies to the future: what we did with your data before remains lawful.
Where is your data stored?
Signups are stored with Laposta, a Dutch email list service. Laposta only processes the data on our behalf; we have a data processing agreement with them. This website runs at Greenhost, a Dutch hosting provider. As with any web server, technical data about visitors, such as your IP address, ends up in the log files there.
Your data is not transferred to countries outside the European Union.
How long do we keep it?
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link.
- Pioneers: for as long as the pioneer programme runs, and up to one year after that, so we can keep in touch about your workspace. After that we delete your data, unless you want to continue with us.
Cookies
This website uses no cookies and no trackers. We don’t measure who visits the site, and we don’t load scripts or fonts from third parties. If you choose a language in the menu, your browser remembers that choice (in localStorage). It stays on your own device; we never see it.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- see what data we hold about you;
- have incorrect data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- object to the use of your data, or have it restricted;
- receive your data in a common format.
Email us at team@wegotworkspace.org and we’ll respond within 5 business days. Not happy with how we handle your data? You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes
If we change this statement, you’ll see it in the date at the top. For major changes, we’ll let you know through the newsletter.
